In August 2025, Jasmine Tafoya Photo hosted their first Artist Portraits with Patina Gallery! The intention behind this recurring series is to offer professional portraits to artists to use for their work in a more accessible way. As an artist and small business owner, JTP understands that art is often considered a luxury good. During these mini-sessions, artists were encouraged to engage in the trade & bartering system in exchange for their portrait slot. This led to the best haul ever and the ability to collaborate with many talented local artists. Keep an eye out for the next Artist Portrait Pop Up!

Krystal Coronado Hoffman is the artist behind @tejana.clayworks — her work is so beautiful & detailed. I was so excited about about the pieces she chose to bring: her one of a kind tortilla warmer that was a passion piece for her, two of her monarch mugs showcasing the different life stages mirroring the various steps in her process, and also a beautiful wall pocket with lilies, which I may be a bit biased about because this piece was a part of our trade for this session. I am still seeking the perfect place to display this beautiful work of art!

Kassandra Grays is the face behind KG Clay Co.– I had such a fun time laughing with Kass throughout her session, & I found the intention and functionality in their pieces stunning. Brit adores the tomato-themed olive oil dispenser, & holds it closely as a treasure. Kass explains their intention of their art beautifully: “I hope is to help others slow down and appreciate the small parts of our routines. There is joy to be found in the mundane tasks of every day life, we just have to seek it.”

lily groot is a multi-hyphenate. She’s a painter, muralist, near east-sider, and printmaker, who requested to have some photos outside next to the endearing sunflower of Patina that she has helped nurture. It’s fitting– when I think of lily and their work, I think of the beauty, rich color, and being deeply grounded. I absolutely adore lily, and I encourage you to also keep an eye out for the annual group art show they helps organize Wet Wet Mud.

Megan Miller of @agirlandherniche is a multi-style pop artist who has intention. Her colorful, fun works of art are created with sustainable, environmentally-conscious practices in mind. She sustainably sources materials and strives to run a business that supports a healthier environment. Also, have you seen her Groovy Greenhouse mural work?!

Savannah Jacob is the literal wizard behind Sav J. Art, and I have not stopped thinking about the details in these ceramic pieces! It was so cool getting to hear her talk about her process — from coming up with things in the process of etching to mapping out the vision ahead of time, like in this gorgeous pollinator vase. Savannah is also a founder of the Neighbors Gallery and has one of best festival booth set ups.

Morgan Kerberg of Morgan K Ceramics is just as sweet, joyful, and vibrant as her ceramic pieces. She has studio space in Patina & we were able to snag a few portraits of her in the space where she creates art! I love that you can see the process from start to finish all in one image: the bag of raw clay, the thrown vessels drying on the rack with glaze and tools, and her shelf of finished pieces. I love having a small collection of her magnets & sipping a lil bevvie from her perfect tumblers!

Eric T. Cesare of ETC Centric Ceramics such a warm and unique artist. I adore their work, and first saw a piece of theirs at the Patina Silly Show. I would say that Eric specializes in eccentric pottery with personality, and when they brought one of their Friendship Chickens from a Alley Cat Ceramics class, I had to sign up. Eric also lays the claim to creating an incredibly satisfyingly smooth container which was gifted to Alexa of Alley Cat Ceramics.
